He is an experienced medical doctor with more than a decade of medical practice, handling diagnosis and treatment, surgical operations, and the general case management of clients, with technical expertise on internal medicine, HIV/AIDS treatment and care, and emergency care.

He obtained his diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health from Gulu School of Clinical Officers and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBchB) degree from the prestigious Kampala International University medical school. He previously worked at Mulago Hospital, Galen Pharmacy and Laboratory, Kamwokya Christian Caring Community, and Mubende Regional Referral Hospital. He is a registered and active member of Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council, the professional body that regulates the practices of medical and dental doctors in Uganda.
